Screening of Marilyn Schlitz’s Death Makes Life Possible as part of the Tehachapi Eclectic Film Series

The Eclectic Film Series enjoyed an enthusiastic audience at its inaugural event, which featured the film History of Dance in America, hosted by Broadway and television dancer Andi Hicks. The series continues to shine a light on the many creative professionals in Tehachapi working in film, television, and related arts.

“There are incredibly creative people in the film and television industries who are your neighbors,” Andi said.

Looking ahead, the Eclectic Film Series will present Death Makes Life Possible on September 30. This thought-provoking documentary by Marilyn Schlitz explores how understanding death can bring meaning to life, offering personal, cultural, and scientific perspectives on this universal experience.

The Eclectic Film Series is open to community members who want to showcase their expertise.

“Let’s make the Eclectic Film Series a place to learn more about what Tehachapi residents do behind the scenes,” said Andi.
